Leaf Candy Water Tower

"Leaf Candy Water Tower" was awarded 3rd. place by judge Eason Elge in Masterworks of New Mexico national exhibition, pastel division. An underpainting was created en plein aire to capture the luminescent sky as backdrop for the upper tiers of the structure and the water tower. Contrasting dark shades were used to give the subject an industrial feel.
